We want to say a huge “Thank you” to Resale With a Purpose in Tomball for the generous donation of $7,500.00. These folks do it right! They contribute so much support for area charities! This year they will hit their goal of giving away one million dollars providing much needed financial support to help well deserving charities. 100% of their profits go to charity! Be sure to check out their store in Tomball! They’ve also increased their square footage and the store looks great! Our Executive Director even came away with some great thrift store finds that she just couldn’t leave without purchasing. Thanks again Resale With A Purpose!
Camp Blessing
Camp Blessing is a Christian camp for individuals of ALL abilities that is located in Brenham, Texas. It was started in 2006 and for 11 summers, rented facilities. In 2017 Camp Blessing purchased a 158-acre facility outside of Brenham, Texas and operates 10 weeks of summer camp for special needs campers, and their siblings as well as a Christian retreat center in the non-summer months.
Each year over 1,200 middle school and high school-aged volunteers and 130 college-aged staff seek to share the love of Jesus through an iconic camp experience with 770 campers, and their siblings. With the generosity of organizations like Resale with a Purpose, Camp Blessing will be able to expand its ministry reach and impact more individuals with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We will use the funds to develop and expand new and existing activities to further enhance the camper experience as well as be able to offer scholarships to those individuals that cannot afford to come to camp. We are beyond grateful for the partnership of Resale with a Purpose in supporting like-minded Christ-centered ministries.
