COCI’s No More Victims Program Receives $12,500 Grant From Resale With A Purpose

For two decades, No More Victims founder Marilyn Gambrell has worked with teens who are living with the trauma of having one or more parent that has been incarcerated. These youths are at higher risk of suicide, dropping out and winding up continuing the family cycle of incarceration. Despite those grim statistics, of the more than 1600 students how have been in No More Victims, nearly everyone has graduated from high school and very few have been incarcerated as adults. We are so very appreciative of Resale With A Purpose and the support that it has demonstrated for our mission. In many ways, we are working with some of the most at-risk children in Texas and support from RWAP helps make it possible for us to be successful. The shop’s model helps the community twice – once by making quality clothing available at low cost and then by investing its revenue back into valuable projects.

Tomball Pregnancy Center serves women, men, and families facing unexpected pregnancy with free services for

• Limited Ultrasound
• Options counseling
• Education
• Material Assistance
• Referral for community resources
• Parenting and Fatherhood programs
• Sexually Transmitted Infection screening and treatment (Coming Summer of 2019)
• Community Education

We serve clients until their children are 2 years old.  As a part of our Parenting Education programs, clients earn Family Funds for our boutique of new baby items.  Our partnership with Resale with a Purpose allows our clients to also spend their Family Funds at the resale shop on things we may not have that they need for their children or on maternity items.   THANK YOU so much Resale with a Purpose for serving our clients so well and helping them be able to provide better for their families!
